PSE-YSM 2018 will be held in the Redmonds Building (Find out more), Liverpool John Moores University (LJMU), which is situated within an easy walking distance from the Lime Street Station. The Redmonds Building is situated at the important junction between Brownlow Hill and Clarence Street, and it the building provides an impressive gateway for students, residents and visitors to both the Knowledge Quarter and the Mount Pleasant Campus of LJMU.
The welcome speech by the Chief-Guest of the conference and Vice Chancellor of LJMU, Prof Nigel Weatherill (Find out more), the opening speech by the Executive Dean of the Faculty of Science, Prof Peter Wheeler (Find out more), all oral presentations and the AGM of the PSE will be held in the Lecture Theatre 2 in this building, which is equipped with the cutting edge audio-visual systems and can accommodate 150 participants.
